Schwalbe's involvement in the tire industry dates back to 1922, and to call the Pro One Evolution "the best road bike tire" they've created is quite the statement. The Pro One receives Schwalbes' new ADDIX Race Compound that sets a high standard for clincher-only road tires. Charging hard after the elusive "souplesse" sensation on the road, which combines speed and control, ADDIX promotes traction in hard-cornering criteriums and maintains speed well on road-racing descents. The Pro One is a clincher-only tire and is not intended for tubeless setups, however, coming in 23-30mm widths, it covers a large range of needs from time-trial events to modern mixed-terrain races that require wider tires.
