To ensure we have crisp brews in the wild, we use the DC Hardwire Kit to send power from our auxiliary battery to our fully stocked Dometic icebox. The cooler's plug twist-locks into this converter's threaded port, making sure it won't pop out as we drive atop rugged terrain, while the covered heavy-gauge wiring delivers steady power.
