Whippet Attachment

Black Diamond's new Whippet Attachment works with any Whippet Ready ski pole to provide you with added security as you navigate through steep terrain or descend in no-fall zones. What's especially great about the attachment is that it provides you with the versatility to use it with your Whippet Ready ski pole on backcountry missions when you're navigating through technical terrain, but it can also be easily removed so you have a regular set of poles for all the days in between. The ClickLock mechanism makes it easy to add and remove from your pole, and the durable steel pick will reliably sink into firm snow if you need to self-arrest in an emergency.
