Ultralight Beacon Avy Set

When harvesting backcountry powder, we have Black Diamond's Ultralight Beacon Avy Set zipped in our pack. The low-profile beacon fights off interference as it searches and sends within a 60-meter circular range, while its marking function keeps our response quick in a multi-burial situation. After finding a site, we deploy the probe and pull the Kevlar® cord to lock it in place. Once the probe's oversized tip detects a victim, we move snow away quickly with the aluminum shovel's large-volume blade.
